Statement on passing of Sen. Ted Kennedy

U.S. Rep. Steven C. LaTourette (R-OH) today released the following statement on the passing of U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy: “I want to express my condolences to the Kennedy family and especially the son of Sen. Kennedy, my House colleague Patrick Kennedy. While Sen. Kennedy and I had little in common politically, I have profound respect for his contributions as a legislator and the nearly 50 years he served our nation in the Senate. His life was marked by intense tragedy and triumph, and his passing is a great loss.”
